This work is about inner and outer chaos, about being lost in front of screens. It’s about opting out of reality. Betting on any kind of future is a very personal and subjective matter. How can we know what will happen? Que sera, sera. Whatever will be, will be. But what is our agency? Will we be able to balance uncertainty and certainty and live a happy, dynamic and rewarding life amidst the seeming chaos around us?

The Book
A photographic meditation on betting as a stance — whether on luck at the slot machine, on the next step, or on the person in front of us — that begins in the noise of the screens and arrives in the silence of the desert.
